- The last classes we have been working in groups about the cooperative education and the diversity in the classroom. The aim of this work is to search for the main information of this two aspects, one part of the groups have chosen one topic and the other part the other topic, so when all the classmates will have enough information, we have to compare them explaining to the rest of another group and then we could realize the wrong information or the once that is important and necessary to complete our explanation...This way of searching information is so useful because it is in a cooperative way, where all groups works as one, sharing the information and ideas that they found necessaries or important, and then we use our memory in order to remember the topic and its characteristics and also the capacity of tell this to another audience, which is in this case, another group of classmates.
The last part of the exercise is to compare the information between the groups who were chosen the topic “cooperative education” and the ones who have “diversity in the classroom” as their topic. Making this type of exercise we all see the differences between two different topics and we can discuss about then, in a correct order, by working as teachers one group tell the information that they have found to the other group with different information and then they can take notes and learn from that.
The important aspects of this way of learning are:
-
The cooperative working.
-
Search for information all together.
-
Learn from the mistakes of the others.
-
Share the information and discuss it.
-
The capacity of transmit knowledge.
-
The capacity of understand knowledge.
-
The complicity with the classmates.
-
Looking for information by yourself, instead of studying a text.
-
The dialogue.
-
The discuss.
